Great Pre and Post shave product.,
I purchased this product along with my first double-edged safety razor and the Proaso shaving cream. The smell is pleasant, though not at all strong. This product is great for softening the beard before shaving, and leaves my face cool and tingling after shaving. My skin has also been noticeably healthier since using this product. A little goes a long way, and I expect I will only need to purchase this product at most twice a year given the amount in each jar.
This product is a staple in Italy, and it’s easy to see why. It’s a classic, with no fills but good ingredients that leave user feeling refreshed after each application. I recommend this product

If used correctly of course.
The best way to sue this is on a wet face after you rinse post shave. This needs water, it wont do anything on dry skin. You just need a little dot on each cheek, I mean a little. Just enoguh to where it’s visible on your finger. Rub into your wet face. I will even run my hands under water, shake off the excess and rub in some more to add water. If you use too much it will be sticky, then you will know next time to use less. This has the great proraso scent and cooling effect.
This little jar has lasted me about 6 months to a year. just remember, DONT over do this. You will waste it and not be happy with the product.

I have curly hair and have tried hundreds of dollars worth of pre/post shaving creams and oils and have never found the correct solution. Proraso has a very cooling almost numbing affect when applied under my shaving cream (always mug and brush) has redused breakouts and ingrown hairs. I would recommend this product highly. I cannot shave without it.
