FEATURED Non-Metallic Covert Zirconia Ceramic Razor Blade (Wear-Resistant / Non-Dulling Cutting Edge Blade)
- Totally Non-Metallic
- Made from Zirconia Ceramic
- Wear-Resistant / Non-Dulling Cutting Edge
- Built in Lanyard hole
- Size: 30mm x 10mm
The Covert Razor Blade was designed as a low profile, non-metallic covert operations tactical tool during the cold war. To date there has been significant changes in the evolution of this tool.
Todays version is constructed from Zirconia ceramic, a super-hard material that is extremely wear-resistant and non-dulling.
The blade has 2 cutting surfaces, the main edge and a chisel-grind corner edge. It also has a built in lanyard hole so that it can be sewn into clothing or attached via a lanyard to your belt or gear.
This covert blade is designed as a hide-out blade for cutting tape, ropes, plastic cuffs, etc.

perfect,
This about the size of my thumb nail (and I have small hands). I keep it in my wallet and have used it several times at work to open boxex, envelopes, cut heavy cord, and other cutting tasks on days when I left my pocket knife in the car.

|most useful tactical blade,
I have spent the past couple of months trying to decide on what would be a decent tactical blade for me, I needed a small blade and that could help me out in a pinch. I really considered SOG’s micron 2 and several other blades however this blade turned out to be perfect, despite some of the things I was a little unaware of. Some of the things I was unaware, before I bought the blade is actually how small 30mm x 10mm really is. Even though this blade looks rather small it cut through every box I had and through various other material with ease. I am actually confident that if I need to open a box, letter or even cut a pair of plastic handcuffs, I will be prepared. One thing that came to mind was to see if airport security would detect these types of blades, however upon further thought of walking into a plane with any type of blade I decided that would not be such a great idea. (although to be fair I don’t think the metal detects would sense it, I know their x ray scanners can detect it, seeing as how this blade must be made of a very dense material to be “non-dulling”).
Overall, if you are looking for a really small, compact, thin, durable, covert last ditch, get me out a pinch blade, then you should definitely consider this type of blade.
p.s. when opening the package you should try to be gentle to get the blade out of the cylinder compartment because if can get ‘stuck’.

|Good, but…,
The blade itself is very good. However, packaging was not so great. It was taped down so well that it broke when I tried to remove it, so it’s now useless.
