Alice von Hildebrand’s new book, “Man and Woman – a Divine Invention,” lifts the mind and heart to God, who “invented” the two ways of being human: male and female. The book is a hymn to male-female complementarity: man and woman are equal but not identical. Man and woman mutually enrich each other. A man cannot be fully a man without a woman, and a woman cannot be fully a woman without a man. The book is profoundly theological, poetic, and well researched. I am happy I stumbled upon this small but marvelous book.

|Best Book I’ve Ever Read,
Read an article about Dr. Von Hildebrand’s book. The article was very interesting and stimulated me to purchase the book. I knew I would enjoy the book.
Dr. Von Hildebrand is a scholar of our time, and perhaps in time will be deemed a Doctor of The Catholic Church. She writes in a style that is most comprehending and real. Her book is written for both men and women. I’ve read the book twice. Learned as much from the second reading, as I did from the first.
If you read this book, and you’ll certainly become a better person. You’ll look upon yourself differently, and you’ll most certainly look upon the other gender in a different light. More importantly you’ll look and seek Our Lord with more intensity, reverence, respect, love, awe and wonder.
Words will never allow me to fully explain the impact this book has had on me. Read this book – IT CAN AND WILL CHANGE HOW YOU VIEW YOURSELF AND EVERYONE AROUND YOU. MANY THANKS DR. VON HIDEBRAND.
