this product was advertised to me on Truck u…I decided to go with it. So far i have only done my tailgate…few things to note….the scuff pad they send you….garbage….use sandpaper it lasts longer! next shake the can for a while before opening and stirring….instead of stirring use a whisk, it will break the clumps up better…. it does go on easy and fast. allow for the proper drying time between coats….doesnt look professional like a spray in does but hey…thats the point its a roll in type…im giving it a week before i start testing it just to make sure its properly cured. just need enough time to do the box….if you want it to look professional ya you can spray it over if you want…but this stuff to me is a lot stronger than the hurculiner is and the uv and water based is just what i need for hauling sleds that can leak and whatever other liquid/chemical i haul. great product and cant wait to get it all done!

    1) 1st thing to say is its not as tough as linex or hurculiner.
    2) you can scratch it very easy. unless you do 10 coats like i basically did.
    3) it doesnt go on nice. its not very pretty to the eye.

all in all it did the job of a very cheeap coast affective bed liner. after sanding down the big lumps of dry kevlar i did a finishing spray coat of rustoliums spray liner after that it looked professional. and was a lot tougher.but ittook a while to do all that.

The other people who say the rain will “destroy” the coating are stupid. If the rain destroys a water-based coating why wouldnt it destroy a water-based paint? i personally have had the coating on my truck for about a month and a half and it has rained at least ten times and not peeled at all. I also took a power washer at the car wash place and “jetted” the water at every angle against the coating and it hasnt even started to peel. And for the ones who complain about it taking more than one coat… The directions say to put two coats on. And the tutorial video at the duplicolor website say to put two coats on. THIS PRODUCT IS AWESOME yes it may be a little expensive but its a heck of a lot cheaper than having it done by rhino lining or ziebart. my brother got ziebarts rhino liner and it peels and tears and stuff slips on it even though its “slip-resistant” so if i were you id spend the 90 bucks and buy the kit.
